Links Golf on Islay
The Machrie Golf Links stretches along the Atlantic coast on the west side of Islay — a traditional Scottish links course with natural dunes, burn crossings, and the kind of views that make concentration difficult. Founded in 1891, it is one of the oldest courses in Scotland, and consistently one of the least crowded. It has hosted Open Championship qualifying rounds. Eight miles from Islay House.
No queues. No dress code theatre. Just golf the way it was intended. We are happy to arrange tee times at The Machrie on your behalf — tell us your dates and preferred time of day and we will take care of the booking.
These can be arranged via email or phone — please contact us after booking.Other attractions
